Parallel lines.

To the special abilities in all of us that has made us so much more aware of the differences in this existing world! Hello friends! Today is about "chalk and cheese". Things that makes us who we are, does not always come to us like a door step amazon delivery. We need to go through or rather push ourselves through a series of situations - some in harmony while the others in distress. The point to note here is the way we deal with these special situations. Our degrees of freedom get restricted, sure! But then the peculiar properties of the system still play a really important role. I, here, do not intend to sound pep-talkish but, my point is we all behave differently and we must respect those unsaid, undefined boundaries. This is with regards to our surroundings, with different people and in different times as well. I hope one can relate to the feeling of getting irritated or annoyed with some of the actions of their loved ones. But, the some deeds done by a completely random ...

Guilts and regrets.

Hello everyone! Writing on this upon a dear friend's suggestion. Hope I do justice to this! So let's hear it. Guilts and regrets are the two sides of the coin of our actions, which for some reason don't fall-into our favours. We develop this feeling quite often, when we are aware of the outcome of the actions and we still go ahead to a fail. Regret happens when we can't go back to fix our previous actions or justify the then taken decisions. Guilt comes when we finally realise making a irreversibly wrong move, the repercussions were of course neither expected nor intended.  The subtle point lies in the way, we deal with the consequences of our actions. Both guilts and regrets boil down to the bad choices we have made. I personally feel, being responsible for our thoughts and actions will definitely ease out the hurt and pain  associated to either of the two. What we can actually think is about the future choices which depends  on these guilts and regrets. How can we pre...

Self-doubt.

This is something we all go through at some point of our lives. Some experience it in their professional, while others in their personal or private lives. What makes a difference is the attitude with which people deal with it. As they say, "to each, it's own", people have different responses to similar stimuli, also a very personal coping mechanism. But what makes us talk about self-doubts is the pressure we put onto ourselves. Let’s get real, we all have self-set goals and very high ambitions for ourselves, which sometimes lead to (unrealistic) expectations, maybe? So far so good! But the problem arises when we start questioning our abilities (mental and emotional) and our skills, and somehow take the very route going south! And then with added peer pressure and performance anxiety, literally playing the last nail in the coffin, one finds it difficult to keep the cool, and a recursive loop of self-doubt starts! Now the point is how to get oneself out of that loop? The ans...

Behavioural Procrastination.

Hello friends, let us talk about 'the' problem of today's generation. Procrastination! Yes, that's right. In today's times, we have the luxury of well connected networks, technology that gets us things to our door  steps, literally. The excessive use of internet facilities has only added up to our already developing procrastinating behaviour. While the advancement in facilities only make our life better and more comfortable, to what extent is this comfort zone really beneficial, is the introspection we need to do? We often concede to the "I will do it later, in my own time" mindset and there lies the very foundation of 'the' problem. Days become weeks and months, affecting our general productivity and considerably damages the creativity in one. This works very similar to your computer’s RAM. If you delay the work, it adds up to the already present pile and then starts the vicious cycle leading to slower or mediocre results. This can be more fatal t...

Competitions and Rejections!

Hello everyone!! This is a special one for all of those who feel the invisible pressure burdened onto them. I have many names in my head right now who can claim this is for them. Lemme tell you, you have been my inspiration at so many times. Today, I am here to talk about how competitions and rejections are like noughts and crosses! The game in which the one who grasps the objective and plausibly the tactics, leads to a draw - a no win situation. But, do you lose the game either?  Well, competitions work like that too. The only outcome you get out of it is a reality check - a route map to success. And rejections are obviously friction in that journey. So, how does getting a hand on these brings you to a better position? Simply put, take every rejection as an input fed-back to the competitions’ algorithm. Whether this feedback is positive or negative is a rhetoric one needs to answer. And then maybe you can work out the math to predict whether the rejections stop or is it you....

Not known to many, I have a thing for creative writing, and I am planning to do that more often, because it gives me happiness. So let's do what it takes to be happy. Stay tuned.
